MEET MIKE
Proven Leadership In Central Louisiana & Baton Rouge
Mike Johnson serves Central Louisiana's 27th State House District as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives. Since 2019, Mike has represented Rapides Parish in Baton Rouge and currently serves as Speaker Pro Tempore.

Mike grew up in Pineville, Louisiana, and graduated from Louisiana College with a degree in Public Administration and earned his Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center .
​
He has served his community as an attorney and as a judge since 1984. Additionally, Johnson has led efforts to improve CENLA through founding organizations like the Rapides Child Advocacy Center and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).
​
As president of North Rapides Business and Industry Alliance, Mike oversees the non-political organization that brings business and community leaders together to share information and engage in discussions of various issues of interest to the community.
Mike is married to Sheila Johnson. They have two children and three grandchildren. They reside in Pineville, Louisiana.
